Um, whole grain artisan bread is amazing. I don’t mean silly, whole grain or whole wheat bread that Sara Lee or Arnold makes (although Arnold makes an excellent whole wheat sandwich bread…), I mean delicious, flavorful, maybe-it-has-some-nuts-in-it, whole grain artisan bread from a bakery– or your local supermarket bakery. There is nothing more delicious. If you have ever been to Carrabba’s, you can sympathize with my obsession with amazingly seasoned olive oil and some warm bread to dip into it.

The Mediterranean Diet is extremely appealing to me. It contains all of my favorite foods and still boasts to be a healthy life style. I am a gigantic fan of whole grain bread. I love it. I love it dipped in olive oil with all kinds of spices, I love it drizzled with balsamic vinegar and I love it alone. I also love olives, fresh vegetables and a good salad with some feta cheese. I love Friday nights cozied (made that word up) up with a nice glass of wine and I love the occasional slice of cheesecake or strawberry dipped in chocolate.
